After the first Fayetteville snow, we all know the holiday music is on full blast and we’re planning our holiday festivities. You’ve got movies, decorations, warm blankets and big sweaters but don’t forget about all of the treats! To give you holiday cheer, we have eight yummy seasonal treats to keep your days merry and bright.

You’ll get the quality service you deserve, plus a warm coffee made with love by sweet SuAnne behind the barista bar. This place is always there to give a little spunk to your holidays!

Drum roll please!! Behold, the very first smoothie to actually warm you up during the cold holiday season. One sip and you’ll be dreaming of running through a forest of tall pine trees. And don’t forget about all the health benefits from drinking an all-natural smoothie. Go get your share of health before finals week gets you down.
3. Club Red: holiday sweet treats
What says festive like candy, peanut brittle and chocolate drizzled popcorn?! These treats are a fun, cheap way to brighten up your friends or even your professors days. I know all of you are looking for a little something to motivate your professor to bump up that grade! What’s better than telling them you care by given them a little holiday treat? I can’t seem to think of anything! Stop by Club Red (in the Arkansas Union) and grab a few treats to boost the holiday moral.
4. Starbucks: caramel brûlée
Not only do they have the most festive coffee cups around, they have a caramel brûlée to warm you up. Thank you Starbucks for always showing up in our lives when we need you the most!! And in style! This holiday drink includes a rich caramel sauce, espresso, steamed milk (of your choice) and tops with whipped cream and caramelized sugar! I think this yummy drink is calling your name.
5. True Burger: eggnog shake
Who grows a biggg sweet tooth around this time of the year? I know I do!! If so, I’ve got the best place for you. Grab yourself a good ole burger from True Burger in the Arkansas Union, and then for dessert be seasonal with the eggnog shake. A burger and shake are a classic, but what’s even better is putting a spin on a classic?! Get it while it’s cold!
6. Einstein’s: double chocolate peppermint muffin
When I think of the ideal place to eat this delicious chocolatey muffin, I’d be sitting by a big window somewhere on campus, peppermint muffin in one hand and a good book in the other (let’s be real, a textbook). The chocolate making me sit deeper and deeper into my cozy chair and the peppermint keeping me awake! This muffin isn’t just a regular muffin to me, it’s a comfort muffin.
