Bucket List: Fayetteville Fall Above All

  1. Sip on a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks.

We all know we aren’t the only ones waiting at the edge of our seats for “that time of the year.” That one day where the temperature outside drops below 75 degrees and everyone brings out their sweaters. It’s pumpkin spice latte season and who does it better than Starbucks? Use that Tapingo app, beat the crazy line and grab yourself a fall latte. What’s better than that? Take advantage now, as you know, its only “that time of the year” once a year.

2. Grab soup from Au Bon Pain and sit under the fall leaves.

Fall means colder weather and cold weather means warm things. Some of my favorites are blankets, campfires, fuzzy coats, sweatpants, hot chocolate annddd soup! More specifically Au Bon Pain soup. Just thinking about cold weather teamed up with a cup of soup makes my heart warm.

3. Order a pumpkin spice smoothie from Where the Wild Greens AR to fuel up for tests.

Ain’t nobody got time to sit down for a nice meal when there’s stress of school in the back of your mind. That’s why I like Where the Wild Greens AR all natural smoothies. So fresh and delicious and now they’re getting seasonal. PUMPKIN SPICE. Yup, I said it. It’s Thanksgiving dessert in a cup! Not to mention all of the health benefits. These smoothies will change the way you study and the way you do fall. Get festive with your study snack.

4. Have a pre-friendsgiving party at the Union Food Court.

What says Thanksgiving more than those community tables and five different restaurants to choose from? If you’re looking for a cheap way to do friendsgiving, look no further than the Union Food Court!! Grab your squad, grab a community table and grab your choice of feast. Fall is the season to be thankful. I’m thankful for that beautiful renovation! Just this time of year, I feel thankful and generous enough to share my waffle fries.

5. Watch the leaves change while you drink a hot cocoa in Peabody Perks.

Peabody Perks is UARK’s little, not-so-secret nook. It’s in the most perfect spot to watch the Old Main lawn leaves change to their beautiful, bright colors. I love this spot as a get away from the busyness of campus. It’s small and quaint with big windows. Take advantage of this coffee shop for your study time.
